PSYCHOSOCIAL HAZARDS & WORKER WELLBEING

Recognise the risks. Protect your people. Build a healthier workplace.

Course Overview

Psychosocial hazards can arise from the way work is designed, organised and managed, as well as from workplace behaviours, relationships and environmental conditions.

The Psychosocial Hazards & Worker Wellbeing course provides participants with practical knowledge to recognise common psychosocial hazards, understand how they may affect workers, and contribute to a workplace that protects both psychological and physical health.

Using practical workplace examples and scenarios, participants explore how hazards such as excessive job demands, poor support, bullying, harassment, conflict, remote or isolated work and exposure to traumatic events can affect worker wellbeing.

The course focuses on early identification, prevention, consultation and effective risk controls, rather than simply responding after harm has occurred.

Why This Course Matters

Psychosocial hazards are workplace hazards and should be managed systematically, just like physical safety risks.
